Please visit the Santa Clara County housing search (www.scchousingsearch.org) website to search for available affordable rental units in Santa Clara County.  SCCHousingSearch is a free housing service for tenants and property providers, and is an easy and accessible tool to search for up-to-date available rental housing in Santa Clara County.   You can also contact the toll-free bilingual (English and Spanish) call center at (877) 428-8844 Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for help with an individualized housing search.

Please contact the Housing Authority of the County of Santa Clara at (408) 275-8770 or visit them at 505 West Julian Street in San José to check your status on the Section 8 waiting list.

Community Plan to End Homelessness
The Community Plan to End Homelessness is a community-wide roadmap to ending homelessness in Santa Clara County for the next five years (2015-2020).  Led by Destination: Home, the Plan has been endorsed by the Santa Clara Board of Supervisors, the City of San José, the Santa Clara Water District, the Housing Authority of the County of Santa Clara, the Santa Clara County Cities Association, and the Silicon Valley Leadership Group.
