Enrollment is open to current undergraduate, graduate and PhD students, faculty, and staff.

What can I learn at the Teaching Kitchen @ Stanford?

The program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of cooking delicious meals while understanding how to eat healthier and build confidence in cooking skills. Participants will be taught hands-on cooking skills by Stanford Dining’s own certified teaching chefs using acclaimed chef and food activist Jamie Oliver’s recipes and inspiring teaching style. 

Can I request to learn a specific cooking skill or recipe at the Teaching Kitchen @ Stanford?

Will Chef Jamie Oliver teach the classes?

The Teaching Kitchen @ Stanford is a program created by Residential & Dining Enterprises Stanford Dining with the support of the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation. Stanford Dining’s certified teaching chefs will lead classes based on Jamie Oliver’s Food Foundation’s food education hands-on cooking class curriculum, as well as Jamie Oliver’s healthy recipes.
