Description
Stanford Desktop Tools (SDT) is an application that simplifies the process of keeping your Stanford site-licensed software up-to-date. It lets you choose which applications you want to keep updated and how often you want to check for updates. Keeping your applications up-to-date allows you to have the latest, most secure, best performing versions of critical Stanford software.
Stanford Desktop Tools automatically checks for updates on the schedule that you specify and notifies you of all possible updates. You can then launch Stanford Desktop Tools at your convenience and install all the updates from within the tool.

Notes
- You can use the Stanford Desktop Tools pop-up menu to authenticate to Kerberos and to access Stanford OpenAFS functions (if the applications are installed).
