The Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) awards the Claire and Ralph Landau Student Discussion Paper Prize for the best student-written SIEPR working paper.
The $2,500 prize is a tribute to the Landaus and their countless contributions to SIEPR and Stanford’s economics department. The range of eligible topics is as broad as Ralph Landau’s interests were in economics — papers can deal with any issue involving the formulation or evaluation of economic policy.
Requirements for submission:
- Student papers must be approved for the SIEPR Discussion Paper Series by a Stanford faculty member to ensure the high quality of submissions.
- Papers must be policy oriented.
- Papers must contain an abstract.
