Meeting the Moment is ORSL’s newest offering debuting the 2020-2021 academic year. The program, which comes out of our Rathbun Program, includes a student fellowship, monthly themed public program offering and resource list, and repeatable 1-credit class. Each facet of the Meeting the Moment was designed to inspire and resource Stanford students to thrive and derive meaning during a highly unusual academic year fraught with societal, economic, and spiritual upheaval.
The Meeting the Moment Fellows are a diverse group of seven Stanford undergraduate and graduate students hailing from a variety of spiritual and ethnic backgrounds. The Fellows will host the monthly events, curate and create the monthly resources, and assume rotating leadership roles in the 1-credit class, which will be offered fall through spring quarters.
