Holy Day Services at Memorial Church

Main content start

In addition to weekly services, we also hold occasional Holy Day services in a variety of traditions.

Christmas

The Christian celebration of Jesus’s birth. We traditionally hold both ecumencial and Roman Catholic Christmas Eve services on 12/24 as well as Roman Catholic Mass on Christmas day 12/25.

Diwali

The Hindu Festival of lights, celebrating the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. We traditionally hold a Diwali celebration in the month of October or November in partnership with the Hindu Student Association.

Easter

The Christian Celebration of Jesus’s Resurrection. We traditionally hold both ecumenical Christian and Roman Catholic Easter Services on Easter Sunday.

Mawlid

The Muslim celebration of the birth of the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). We traditionally hold a celebration of Mawlid in the month of October in partnership with the Muslim Student Union.
