Noel Oaks is located on a curved, tree-lined street in close proximity to downtown Menlo Park, the Menlo Park Civic Center, Burgess Park, and Caltrain. Residents enjoy beautifully manicured lawns surrounded by mature redwood trees. Apartments boast upgraded units with high end finishes such as crown molding, granite countertops, wood floors, and double pane windows. There is no smoking allowed on property, no BBQs on patios. Bikes must be kept in the bike rooms or in your apartment.  Noel Oaks is near a Caltrain station, library, and downtown Menlo Park shops and restaurants.

The apartments are spacious and have carpeting and wood floors. Each apartment has one assigned space in an under-building carport. Stanford provides high speed internet through Comcast and covers the cost of utilities. Stanford does not provide cable television, telephone, or cost of laundry.

Sublicensing is not permitted within off-campus subsidized apartments.
