Teams at Facebook span the globe, working with us directly and through external partners to help give people the power to build community and keep people safe on our platforms. Our Scaled Operations team is responsible for the effectiveness, efficiency, and well-being of this global workforce.

Market Operations

Our goal is to reduce bad experiences for people—including businesses and advertisers—who use Facebook. We analyze global, local, and language-based trends and nuances and collaborate with other Facebook teams to make changes that help people form stronger, more meaningful connections using our platforms.

Quality

Our team develops measurement systems to evaluate how effectively Facebook implements standards on our platforms. The projects we lead help refine, clarify, and modify global policies, content review protocols, and tools.

Vendor Partner Management

We are responsible for managing the strategic relationships with Facebook’s workforce vendor partners around the world. We help measure and optimize the performance of global worksites, manage the standards our partners follow, and help address changes—internal and external—that impact them.

Workforce & Readiness

Working closely with other Facebook teams, we develop and implement workforce management tools, evaluate team capacity, and help prepare for changes—at Facebook and in the world—that could impact Facebook’s global workforce needs.

Learning

By building and providing learning and development opportunities and performance support both for Facebook’s Global Operations employees and people working with our vendor partners, we help make sure they have the knowledge they need to help keep people on our platforms safe.

Performance Management

We measure and report on the efficiency and effectiveness of our teams and processes, using metrics-driven insights to uncover areas of opportunity and improve operational performance of both our Global Operations team and external partners.

Strategic Initiatives

We help prioritize and build strategic programs with standardized, sustainable structure, communications, and reporting to help achieve business goals.
