The Academic Technology Lab (ATL), located on the first floor of Lathrop Library, is a resource center for faculty, instructors, and TAs interested in using multimedia to improve teaching, learning, and research at Stanford.

ATL consultants provide training and support for developing instructional materials, including interactive presentations, videos, DVDs, and websites. They also assist faculty who want to integrate technology tools into their courses, including assistance with CourseWork (Stanford's learning management system).

The ATL has a wide array of equipment and software to support academic computing projects, including video and audio capture, podcasting, and more.

Faculty can meet with ATL staff by appointment. Faculty, instructors, and TAs can email atl@acomp.stanford.edu with a description of their projects, dates, and times they are available for a consultation.
