United States information
Environmental Integrity Project (EIP), a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting public health, maintains the Ashtracker database of groundwater contamination from coal power plant waste. The database contains 39,080 groundwater quality readings at 1,010 monitoring wells near 30 ash waste sites in 16 states from Florida to North Dakota. It allow people to access detailed information about groundwater contamination near areas used to dispose of ash, scrubber sludge or other wastes from coal burning power plants.
A decade-long series of lectures hosted by Water Resources Collections and Archives at UC Berkeley covering many topics ranging from ancient climates to invasive species. Lectures are posted to YouTube and last about 1.5 hours each. This webpage also offers access to some additional materials, such as slide sets, where they are available.

This Google Search takes you to over 500 research reports on water treatment, water and health, water use and conservation in the Public Report Library of the Water Research Foundation. Access from their website is dire, but this search seems to work well. Add additional keywords to the search box before the word "site" in the results list to focus it more tightly.
