Everardo's role in the library

As HDIS's Library Specialist, I provide support on website design & maintenance, troubleshooting & support to full-text and image collections, specialized image editing and conversion, as well as metadata creation for eventual use in Humanities Digital Information Service image collections and occasional small-scale scanning or other digitization projects.

As Latin American Curatorial Assistant, I provide support for planning, development and management of the Latin American, Mexican American and Iberian collections, this includes assisting the Curator in the acquisition and processing of primary source materials from most places in Latin America and the US, as well as Spain, Brazil & Portugal. As Expert Partner, I provide technical support to the International Area Studies group.

As Special Collections Specialist, I provide support primarily at the Special Collections' Field Reading Room, but occasionally I also help with collection processing and acquisitions.

My role in all three positions is to work collaboratively with Stanford University Libraries' staff, as well as to provide advanced use of library resources, tools and specialized subject bibliographic assistance to faculty and students at Stanford.
