Katharine's role in the library

Call me Katie. I provide reference and library instruction in all areas of art, art history and architecture, including work with the PWR program. I also work with our image database, imagebase.stanford.edu, which is a great resource for locating primarily art images. You'll find me at the Reference Desk in the Art Library on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Please come find me. I'm happy to help!

More about Katharine

I've worked as an art librarian for over twenty years in both academic and museum libraries and bring a wide range of experience to Stanford. I volunteer as a docent at the Cantor Arts Center where I work with a lot of young children and am constantly learning new things.  My academic interests are varied but I would say I am most interested in architectural history and contemporary Chinese art.  I recently audited a course about Sicilian art and architecture and look forward to visiting this fascinating place at some point in the future.
