More about Mattie
My career in archives began with an archival internship at the Archdiocese of San Francisco as an undergraduate and I've worked continuously in the field since then. Seeking to be familiar with all facets of information management, I've worked in records management, political research, museums, and various other archival and library repositories.
Before coming to Stanford in 2006, I worked at the California State Library for 9 years for State Librarian, Dr. Kevin Starr. After Dr. Starr retired, I worked for the new State Librarian, Susan Hildreth, for two years. I hold a masters degree in Public History from Sacramento State University and an MLIS from San Jose State University which I completed in 2005.
