Stanford Students Create App for Caregivers of Patients with Dementia

Two Stanford engineering students, Mersina Simanski, ’15, and Tyler Haydell, ’15, have collaborated with School of Medicine faculty and Palo Alto VA Hospital staff to create a mobile app that gives activity recommendations to informal caregivers of loved ones with dementia.

June 21	5th Annual Summer Scamper Bring your kids for family fun and to support a good cause! Summer Scamper is an annual walk/race that benefits Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford and the child health programs at Stanford University School of Medicine. It features a 5k, 10k, kids' fun run, and family festival. Since its debut five years ago in 2011, the Summer Scamper has grown into a community-wide event that draws over 3,000 Scamper-ers!
