Mouseflow

The Stanford University Libraries is conducting a website usability study of library.stanford.edu and SearchWorks during the period between March 27 through June 26, 2013.  The goal of this study is to help us improve the design and usability of these websites by analyzing quantitative and behavioral data on how visitors use the sites.  During this period we will be using a service called Mouseflow to collect data on mouse movements, mouse clicks, scroll actions and keystrokes.

Over the course of the three month study we will collect data on a random eight percent of all site visits on library.stanford.edu. We will collect data on a random 2 percent of all site visits on searchworks.stanford.edu.
