Helen's role in the library
I am responsible for the overall management of the Terman Engineering Library and I am also one of three Engineering Librarians for Outreach, Instruction, and Electronic Resources. I am the subject liaison to the Departments of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Electrical Engineering, Management Science and Engineering, and these units with the School of Engineering: Stanford Technology Ventures Program, Stanford Continuing Professional Development and the Dean's Office. I provide instruction support for PWR courses, the Technical Communication Program and teach workshops on various topics at the Engineering Library.

More about Helen
I joined the Stanford Libraries in March 2007 just as the planning for the new Terman Engineering Library was starting. My previous library experience includes being a research and projects librarian at Intel, database trainer at Thomson, research librarian at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Arizona State University. My interests include the research workflow, managing and facilitating the use of large multi-disciplinary data-sets, developing electronic books and project management.
