The SoMCC offers patrons an extensive lending library with diverse resources dedicated to industry sectors (banking & finance, biopharma, consulting, education, government, healthcare, legal, med device, media, non-profit), credential and interview preparation, negotiation and strategy, as well as a reference section with directories, journals, and insightful industry data.
Resources can be checked out for 28 days (bring your Stanford ID Card) via our automated system. For a list of available resources:
1. Go to: http://lane.stanford.edu/index.html
2. Click “Lane Catalog” then “Course Reserves”
3. In the “Instructor” drop down menu, select “Eberle, Stephanie” and/or in the “Department” drop down menu, select “S005: SOMCC” and click “Enter”

The following online resources are available to Stanford University students, trainees, staff and faculty. They provide career overviews, company details, and advice to both US and international job seekers and aid in the exploration of potential career fields.
Career Insider Online Career Library
Career Insider provides information on top employers and jobs within 19 different industries. Those most relevant include: finance, consulting, health, government/non-profit, energy, marketing, media, education, high tech, and law. Hoovers and Lexis-Nexis
These directories allow you to search by industry, geographic location, and size of company. Company names, addresses, websites, top executives, and financial information are provided. (Click on “NAICS lookup” for industry code information) *Subscription provided by Stanford Libraries
