Global Health Interest Group Summer Solstice Celebration

June 24, 2015

The Global Health Interest Group held a summer solstice celebration at Stanford University on June 24, bringing together colleagues across campus who are interested or involved in global health work. More than 60 students, faculty, researchers and members of the greater Stanford community gathered in the Alway courtyard while Dean Michele Barry welcomed new faculty members Megan Mahoney, MD, director and clinic chief of Stanford Family Medicine, and Gary Darmstadt, MD, MS, associate dean for maternal and child health, who recently joined Stanford from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
