The Life and Death and Life of Objects

PWR 2GMB - Fall 2014 - Instructor: Moyer, G.
Last Updated: 10-Nov-2014

A guide to resources for PWR 2GMB: The Life and Death and Life of Objects

Students in this class will learn about the processes that produce the things they use every day, analyzing the economic and social history of objects. Students echo this process as their central research and rhetorical investigation, selecting an everyday object and investigating its life cycle (from materials to maker and consumption to trash). Through this theme, students may explore familiar or unknown regions and communities, get a chance to build what they use, and connect their daily lives with their lives in the classroom.
