Application

Interested in a fellowship in Hematology and/or Oncology beginning July 1? Here's how to apply:

Applications for our Hematology and Oncology fellowships must be completed in ERAS.

Please note that although we offer a combined Hematology-Oncology training option to our fellows, the Hematology and Oncology programs are independent ACGME programs and therefore listed separately in ERAS. Please apply for only one of our two programs. Your interest in both programs can be indicated in your personal statement or may be determined during the interview process or after the match. The program for which you apply will have no bearing on whether you are selected for an interview.

Applications can be submitted through ERAS starting July 1. We will not accept applications sent through ERAS after August 31. We will be participating in the NRMP MATCH.

Stanford University is committed to increasing representation from women and minority groups in its training programs and particularly encourages applications from such individuals. Due to NIH funding restrictions, you must be a U.S. citizen or have U.S. permanent resident status to apply.  Possession of an MD from a United States or Canadian Accredited Medical School is strongly preferred.

Please submit the following materials:

In ERAS:

  • Completed application with personal statement outlining career plans and research experience, including a succinct paragraph describing your future research interests.
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Photograph (optional)
  • Letters of recommendation: 3-5

Please note that we do not require medical school transcripts.
