Achieving integration with your work and life is an ongoing process that differs for each individual.  An important component is your mental, physical and emotional health. We’ve compiled some on-campus resources below to help you achieve your health and wellness goals.

Mind

Resources for Faculty and Staff

  • The Faculty Staff Help Center offers professional and confidential counseling; consultation and training; workshops and support groups; and discussion facilitation services

Resources for Students

Wellness Network

  • The Wellness Network is a comprehensive online resource directory designed to connect the Stanford community to immediate help and communities of support at Stanford

Body

Recreation and Fitness Facilities

  • Stanford Recreation offers nearly 20 athletic recreation and wellness facilities including one of the world’s finest golf courses, a driving range, tennis courts, an aquatic center with an Olympic-sized pool and much more

Health and Wellness Programs

Special health and wellness programs provide resources needed to create a culture of wellness at home, at work and in the community.

  • The Health Improvement Program (HIP) program offers more than 150 discounted health education and fitness classes each quarter. Run by the School of Medicine, HIP health education classes and programs have a strong foundation in science with an emphasis on sustainable, gradual change.
  • Through the BeWell program, employees receive free, annual health risk assessments, regular health screenings, one-on-one advising, and a selection of workshops, fitness classes and wellness programs
