EdTech offers training on a variety of teaching and learning technologies, including classroom room controls, audience polling, digital inking, instructional rich media (videos and other interactive multimedia), educational use of mobile devices, CourseWork and Canvas (the campus' online learning management systems). Faculty Development Workshops
EdTech offers custom workshops for departments or groups of faculty interested in alternative teaching modalities (flipped classroom, hybrid learning, etc) or innovative and novel ways of applying technology to teaching.
If you have a technology topic of interest (e.g. ebooks, mobile apps, etc) that you would like to apply to a teaching session, or if you would like to arrange a development workshop for your group or department, contact us for more details.
Technology Support
EdTech supports the in-classroom technology and equipment for all EdTech spaces and classrooms. EdTech also supports digital and AV technologies related to the production and distribution of teaching materials: the School of Medicine's learning management system (CourseWork), lecture video capture system, video recording studios, and more.
Personal desktop support issues (such as setting up a new computer, network access, computer encryption, printer setup, etc) should be directed to IRT's Desktop Support group.
