Using Clinical Applications & Data
Access to Clinical Applications
Stanford School of Medicine, faculty, staff and students can now access clinical applications in both hospital and school environments, thanks to an initiative called SUMCnet.
If your computer is located on School premises and you would like to obtain access to a clinical system, you can request that your computer be placed on the SUMCnet.
Access to Clinical Data
The Stanford Center for Clinical Informatics (SCCI), a strategic center within IRT, provides access to clinical data for research purposes. Historical clinical data from both hospitals is available for retrospective review and data extraction, and current clinical data is available to assist in populating study databases for prospective data capture. SCCI also offers study database development services and general consulting on all aspects of clinical data management, database development, regulatory compliance and data security.
