As a member of the Stanford community, you play an important role ensuring safety. Embedded is a link to the 2013 Safety, Security and Fire Report, which contains valuable information about personal safety practices, evacuation and emergency notification procedures, crime prevention programs, fire safety and other policies and best practices related to your safety. You will also find crime statistics for calendar years 2010-2012.

Please take a few minutes to review the document and become familiar with its contents.

This website contains additional links to safety-related resources, including recent crime notifications, information about the university's emergency mass notification system AlertSU and the university's behavioral threat assessment program (http://www.stanford.edu/group/SUDPS/threat-assessment/).

By reviewing the safety information contained in the annual safety report and following a few simple safety practices, you can contribute to keeping Stanford a safe place to live, learn and work.
