Euclidis Opera Omnia. Lipsiae, in aedibus B. G. Teubneri, 1883-1916.

For many years, the Mathematics & Computer Sciences Library, and later the Mathematics & Statistics Library, maintained a collection of Collected Works in Mathematics and Statistics.  When the Mathematics & Statistics Library merged with Falconer Biology Library in 2014, the Collected Works collection comprised approximately 1,000 items and nearly 400 titles.

In downsizing the collection in preparation for our move into the Combined Science Library in the Old Chem Building, many of the collected works were transferred to SAL3.  Remaining items were transferred to Math-Stat stacks and the Collected Works shelving location was eliminated.  Working with the Metadata Department, the Mathematics & Statistics Library has added the local subject heading (690), “Collected Works in Mathematics and Statistics collection” to records for all these collected works.  The physical collection no longer exists but these collected works, selected by bibliographers over a period of many years, can be identified in SearchWorks.
