The ALC works with four Grassroots Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Chengdu, Xian, Wuhan, and Guangxi to inform the public about HBV through road shows and dinner invitations with HBV carriers.
We walked around in Chengdu with LED screens on our backs to give the public a few facts about HBV.
In Wuhan, we collected smiles through pictures while informing people to protect their family members and loved ones.

Lectures: As part of our effort to reach the younger generation, Dr. Samuel So has conducted lecture tours in Beijing universities such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Capital Normal University, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, and more.

ALC successfully persuaded the Beijing University Armed Service Department to hold a hepatitis lecture for first year students during their military training in Peking University. The military students received brochures and some applied to be ALC volunteers.
