Litter Prevention: Working Together
Keep Trash Out of Creeks
Always throw trash in a trash can and never in our streets, sidewalks, or creeks. If you see litter, please pick it up and put it in a trash can before it is swept into the storm drain system and washed into the nearest creek.

Volunteer!
Clean up trash in our creeks by volunteering with Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful, South Bay Clean Creeks Coalition, Santa Clara Valley Water District's Adopt-A-Creek program, or the Creek Connections Action Group

Volunteer to help pick up litter on streets, trails and in our parks through the City of San José's Adopt-A-Park/Adopt-A-Trail or Anti-Litter programs.
Volunteers pick up litter in the Los Gatos Creek.

Report and Prevent Illegal Dumping
