The iPhone and iPad have revolutionized the way
people use technology, but the number of apps and
ways to use the devices can be overwhelming. In this
workshop, you will learn how to use your device more
effectively, utilize key settings to optimize your device,
and find out which apps are most useful. We will cover
how to organize your apps, save your battery life, and
use Spotlight search to find content on your phone. We
will also cover how to customize notifications, activate
security and privacy features, and choose the best way
to back up your device. Finally, we will discuss key tips
to become a savvy traveler and various accessories that
can help you get the most from your device.
Students are required to bring a fully charged iPhone
or iPad to class.
Due to its short format, this workshop may not be taken
for Credit or a Letter Grade.
