Congratulations, Meghan Stawitcke!
Meghan Stawitcke serves as the Fellowship Coordinator for the Division of Neonatal & Developmental Medicine (Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine), as well as for Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics & Clinical Informatics. She has worked at Stanford for 5 years – all of which have been with the Division of Neonatal & Developmental Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics!
Meghan is a native of the SF Bay Area and grew up in the South Bay. She completed her undergraduate school studies in American Literature & Culture at UCLA in Los Angeles – Go Bruins! When she is not working, Meghan enjoys spending time with her family, including her newborn nephew and 3 year old niece – they love playing imaginary games and watching “Moana!” She also enjoys riding bikes with her friends and hiking the Dish when the weather is nice. Meghan states that, “one of the great things I love about my job are the people. I love my Fellows and Co-Coordinators! I would not be able to do everything that I do without their support!”

Congratulations, Mingming Zhao!
Mingming Zhao serves as the Lab Manager and Small Animal Surgeon for the Bernstein Lab in the Division of Cardiology. She has worked at Stanford for 17 ½ years – all of which have been with the Department of Pediatrics!
Mingming is a native of China and she moved to the United States 25 years ago. California is the 5th state that she has lived in and it is her favorite state! She completed her medical school studies at Nanjing University in Nanjing, China – her hometown. When she is not working, Mingming enjoys spending time engaging in art activities including sculpting, drawing and painting– every year she participates in tabling her art work at the Stanford University Multicultural Festival! Mingming also enjoys travelling within California – her favorite destinations have included Big Sur, Yosemite and South Lake Tahoe. Mingming states that, “some of the great things I love about my job are working with my incredibly kind and smart lab members, as well as using my skills and expertise in small animal surgeries through collaborations with many other labs!”

Congratulations, Erika Gray!
Erika Gray serves as the Program Manager for the High Risk Infant Follow-up Quality of Care Initiative – this initiative is part of the CPQCC team within the Division of Neonatology. She has worked at Stanford for 15 years – including CV Medicine, Psychiatry and the Office of Academic Affairs. She has spent her past 11 years working with the Department of Pediatrics!
Erika is a native of Stanford and she was born at Stanford Hospital! She completed her undergraduate studies in Visual Communication at Collins College in Tempe, Arizona. When she is not working, Erika enjoys spending time with her family including her two young daughters – her eldest daughter is currently competing in the Junior Olympics for Track & Field. Erika also enjoys travelling, especially by cruise ships – her favorite destination has been Atlantis Hotel on Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas. Erika states that, “some of the great things I love about my job are my team, my clients and knowing that our work helps drive quality improvements to provide better care for high risk patients and their families!”

Congratulations, Xiaoxia Yao!
Xiaoxia Yao serves as the Financial Analyst for the Divisions of Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. She has worked at Stanford for nearly 2 years – all of which have been with the Department of Pediatrics! She previously worked for Stanford Research Institute (SRI).
Xiaoxia is a native of China and she moved to California 30 years ago. She completed her undergraduate studies in Film & Video Production at Columbia College in Chicago, IL. When she is not working, Xiaoxia enjoys photography and attending mission trips through her church – her mission trips have taken her to Ukraine, China and Burma. Xiaoxia also enjoys travelling for leisure – her favorite destination has been Japan. Xiaoxia states that, “one of the great things I love about my job is supporting the greater purpose of our division and faculty. Our faculty inspire me through their clinical practice and research – it is an honor to support them each day!”
