Faces of Community Student Speakers & Performers

Under the supervision of the Office of the Vice Provost for Student Affairs, Faces of Community is an NSO program that aims to introduce new freshmen and transfers to the diversity of the Stanford community and the unique and varied personal stories and identities of current students.  Faces allows us to celebrate the events in our lives that have shaped who we are: the triumphs, the lessons, and the hardships.  Current students are encouraged to share their personal narratives through Faces, particularly stories relevant to life at Stanford.  The Faces of Community leadership team strives to include a wide range of voices and experiences.

Faces of Community will be held during NSO on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Speakers and performers must return to campus on Saturday, September 16, and help with Move-In at the dorms on Tuesday morning, September 19. Early Arrival Housing and Dining will be provided to students with on-campus housing for the 2017-18 academic year.  Faces speakers and performers must be enrolled undergraduate students for the 2017-18 academic year.
