Tim Barrows is a general partner of Matrix Partners, an early stage focused venture capital firm with U.S. offices in San Francisco and Boston. Matrix has backed founders for more than 40 years building companies across B2B, infrastructure, and consumer technology. Tim also organized and oversees his firm’s international efforts in China and India with teams located in Beijing, Shanghai, Mumbai, and Bangalore.
Tim is a member of the board of trustees of Williams College and chairs the investment committee of the college’s endowment. He has served on the boards of many private and public companies during his more than 30 years of experience in the venture business.
Tim graduated from Williams College and holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
