Stanford’s fiscal year runs September 1 to August 31, and all gifts must be received during this period to be acknowledged in our year-end donor rolls.

However, for gifts and/or stock certificates sent via courier services other than USPS (including FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.), we must receive and sign for them no later than 1pm PST on December 28, 2018. |

| Securities Gifts | Check with your broker for the deadline to initiate transfers to ensure receipt by Stanford for calendar year end. Contact the Gift Securities team directly at (650) 721-1917. Donors should instruct their brokers to initiate transfers in the first week of December to ensure receipt by 12/31. |
| Wire Transfer Gifts | Must be received by Stanford by 11:59pm PST on December 31 (However since the 31 is a Monday, it is advisable to initiate transfers by Friday, December 28, 2018) |
