Canada
Canadian taxpayers may claim a tax credit for gifts to Stanford University, which is listed on Schedule VIII of the Canadian Income Tax Act under “Leland Stanford Junior University (Stanford University), Stanford, California.”
Hong Kong
The Hong Kong Stanford University Charitable Trust is a Hong Kong government-recognized charitable trust that provides tax benefits to Hong Kong residents making gifts to Stanford. To make a gift or for further information, please contact the Stanford International Division at +1 (650) 725-4386.
Mexico

United Kingdom
The Stanford Trust is a charity (#1022726) registered with the UK Charity Commission. Through the Trust, donors may participate in the UK Gift Aid Scheme — a form of tax relief for single cash gifts made to The Stanford Trust and other UK charities by residents in the United Kingdom.

To make your gift:
- Send a cheque payable to the following address: The Stanford Trust, c/o Eileen Flood, 19 Norcott Road, London, N16 7EJ. Alternatively, you can make a gift by wire transfer in GBP sterling or US dollars. Please contact Eileen Flood on eileen_flood@blueyonder.co.uk for the bank details.
- If your gift is eligible for gift aid, please complete a
Gift Aid Declaration Form and return with your gift. Alternatively, you can email the form to Eileen Flood at the email address above. The Stanford Trust will then apply to HM Revenue and Customs to claim a portion of the tax you have already paid. - Please note that if you pay tax at a rate higher than the basic tax rate, you should apply to HM Revenue and Customs for the additional tax relief.
- You can also give directly to Stanford by making a gift online or though international wire transfer.
There is no limit to how often Gift Aid can be used to make gifts to The Stanford Trust.
Transnational Giving Europe
Via Transnational Giving Europe (TGE), donors residing in the following countries are able to make gifts to Stanford and apply for tax advantages in their respective locations: Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Switzerland.
