The Stanford University Fire Marshal’s Office (SUFMO) Work Request may be used to request:
- General support of construction projects
- Code consultation for potential future projects
- Repair, replacement, or installation of fire protection equipment
You must submit your request with a valid Project, Task, Award at least 48 hours in advance. Only one SUFMO work request is required for each project. All SUFMO services will be charged to your single work request, whether the work done is code consultation, plan review, inspections and testing, fire system shutdowns, or another service. If it is determined that no fire services are needed or that the request should be funded by SUFMO, no charges will be included.
Note that completing this form does not schedule the services being requested. To schedule a specific date and time for the requested services, call SUFMO at (650) 725-2129 between 6:30am and 3:00pm. Requests received after 3:00pm will be handled the next business day.
