Sacha Lainovic is cofounder and managing partner of Invus Financial Advisors LLC (IFA), an investment firm based in New York City with over $3 billion of capital under management. IFA has a flexible mandate to partner with other like-minded investors and market-leading management teams in non-control private transactions globally. IFA also manages a Fund of Hedge Funds on behalf of its long-term oriented, family investors.
Previously, Sacha cofounded The Invus Group LLC (Invus), a global private equity firm, and served as executive vice president from 1985 to 2006. Invus has committed capital in excess of $7 billion. Prior to forming The Invus Group LLC in 1985, Sacha was a manager and consultant for The Boston Consulting Group in Paris.
Sacha received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and holds an MS in engineering from INSA de Lyon. He is a director of Weight Watchers International. He also serves on the boards of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Hospital for Special Surgery, and the Ronald McDonald House of New York.
