Alumni: Bring your Stanford historical materials to Reunion Weekend!

Stanford Arts Institute, 2009

History is present at Reunion Weekend this year! The Stanford University Archives has launched the Stanford Alumni Legacy Project to collect materials created by alumni during their time on the Farm – student scrapbooks, photographs, audio and video recordings, posters, flyers, records of student organizations, and more.

You can donate your items at our booth in the Ford Center during Reunion Weekend. The Archives will also be scanning select items that donors wish to retain. Have digital content? We can preserve it in the Stanford Digital Repository and make it available online to support teaching, learning, and research.

While visiting us at the Ford Center, we hope you will take the opportunity to pose with members of the Stanford Family! That's right: Leland, Jane, and even Leland Jr. will be on hand for photo opps.

The full schedule of Reunion Weekend events sponsored by the University Archives can be found online through the Stanford Alumni Legacy Project page. Other activities include tours of the recently opened University Archives exhibit, Social Justice at Stanford, a companion exhibit to the excellent Movements for Change: Bob Fitch Photographs exhibit.

Not planning to attend Reunion Weekend this year? Can't fit everything in the suitcase? Never fear! You can still donate or lend materials. Visit the Stanford Alumni Legacy Project page or email archivesref@stanford.edu for more information.

Funding for the Stanford Alumni Legacy Project is sponsored in part by Stanford Associates.
