Interlibrary borrowing

We can help you borrow books, articles, or other materials that Stanford does not have (so be sure to check SearchWorks or consult with a librarian first!). Check to make sure that you're eligible to use interlibrary services and that the materials are eligible to be borrowed.

Electronic Document Delivery

To retrieve your Electronic Document Delivery (EDD) documents

1. You will be notified by email when your document is ready for delivery. You can then access them using the Electronic Document Delivery form:

  • Enter your complete email address, as it reads in the "To:" header of your email notification.
  • Enter your PIN number (without brackets) that was sent in your email notification.
  • Click the LOGIN box.

2. Electronic copies are subject to Copyright Law (Title 17, U.S. Code). Patrons using EDD agree to comply with copyright restrictions for digital copies and library materials.

3. Adobe Acrobat Reader (4.0 or higher) must be installed to read your electronic document.

4. Your documents are accessible online for twenty-one days after your first e-mail notification.
