From I 280:

1) Exit at Alpine Road

2) East on Alpine Road to first traffic light (about 1 mile)

3) Right on Junipero Serra to first traffic light (about 1/2 mile)

4) Left on West Campus Drive to 3rd stop sign (about 1/3 mile)

5) Right on Panama Street to 3rd or 4th drive on the right (about .05 mile)

6) This is the Carnegie parking lot

From US 101

1) Exit at University Ave

2) West on University Ave to Stanford Campus (about 3 miles)

3) Right on Campus Drive

4) Left on Panama Street to 3rd or 4th drive on the right (about 0.05 mile)

5) This is the Carnegie parking lot.

 

By train and/or bus from San Francisco Airport

Stanford is roughly equidistant from San Jose and San Francisco airports. Sam Trans' Route KX might be the cheapest way to get to and from San Francisco International Airport. That bus stops in front of the Stanford Shopping Center on El Camino Real. The Stanford shuttle, called Marguerite, connects there. Caltrain and BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) connect at the Millbrae station and for an additional fee, there are BART trains that run directly to the airport. More information about public transportation from the Oakland, San Jose and San Francisco airports is available through the Transit Info website.

2) CalTrain to Palo Alto

3) Marguerite (Stanford's free Bus service) to Carnegie

Take Line B Counter-Clockwise to the corner of Panama St. and Campus Drive West

By Bus
