Our staff is available to assist you, whether it is for a single visit or for a prolonged stay. We know that finding reasonably-priced housing close to the Medical Center can be difficult. Should you need assistance in advance of your arrival, please let us know so that our Social Worker can assist you. Educational Materials

The Stanford Health Library is available to assist you by searching the topic of your choice. You must have your Stanford Medical Number available when you call (650) 725-8400 or visit in the hospital or at the nearby Stanford Shopping Center.

Interpreters

If you have difficulty understanding English, please let us know at the time your clinic appointment is made. We will make every effort to have a translator available in your language without charge. Friends and relatives are also welcome to translate for patients.

Financial Concerns

If you have questions regarding insurance, the best way to obtain answers regarding your benefits is usually through your employer's personnel/benefits office or your insurance customer service phone line. Assistance with disability insurance, Medicare or MediCal benefits is available if needed. We will directly bill your insurance provider for your visit but do request any required copayment at the time of your visit. If you have questions concerning your bill at a later date, you can contact Customer Service at (800) 794-8978 or (650) 498-7200, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm.
