Register for the program in the first class. To attend, simply go to a class at the indicated start time. PLEASE BE ON TIME.
There is no tuition charge. Students may take more than one class.

I. LEARN ENGLISH THROUGH AMERICAN HISTORY –Students will practice listening, speaking and vocabulary skills by examining key events in America's history

II. CALIFORNIA TRAVEL AND HISTORY – Find out about the places to visit for a weekend getaway or a great vacation as well as learn about the history of the location.

III. PRACTICAL ENGLISH FOR DAILY LIVING – Learn how to express yourself clearly and confidently when going shopping, eating out, making phone calls etc,

IV. AMERICAN LIFE AND HUMOR – Discuss current issues and lifestyles, view videos, and compare U.S. humor with humor in your country. Have fun while learning English!

V. AMERICAN IDIOMS AND ISSUES–Presentation and practice of common idioms: reading, writing, pronunciation skills and discussion compose the class activities. Fee for materials

VI. INTRODUCTION TO THE AMERICAN SHORT STORY–Read-aloud stories taught in U.S. schools; improve your vocabulary & discussion skills. A small materials fee will be collected in class.
