Parenting Classes & Resources

Parents may learn about child development through enrolling in the Preschool Family at 4120 Middlefield Rd. (856-0833) or Parents Nursery School, 2328 Louis Rd, PA, (856-1440). 

Parenting classes are also offered by the Children’s Health Council, 650 Clarke Way, PA, (326-5530).

Parent-net is an electronic newsgroup that enables Stanford affiliated families to exchange various information including child and family related matters such as childcare, health issues, etc. To subscribe, send an email to PARENT-NET-join@lists.stanford.edu

The Parents’ Club of Palo Alto & Menlo Parkis a Bay Area membership organization for expecting parents, and parents with children up to 5 years old.

Parents Place (688-3040) helps parents, caregivers, and educators support children at all ages. Parents Place professionals offer parenting workshops, parent coaching and consultation, child behavior and school support, clinical and special needs services, parent/child activity groups, and child and family therapy.
