International Discussion Series - 'Iran Nuclear Deal: Prospects and Problems'

Please join us on Thursday, October 1 at 12pm in the Bechtel Assembly Room for a talk by Dr. Abbas Milani – Hamid & Christina Moghadam Director of Iranian Studies Professor (by courtesy) in the Division of Stanford Global Studies. In this first International Discussion Series talk of the academic year, Dr. Milani will speak about the Iranian Nuclear Deal. Lunch will be served at 11:45am.

Pakistanis at Stanford (PaS) is proud to host our annual Welcome Banquet at the Bechtel International Center. Please come and join PaS as we start the new academic year and in welcoming new students from Pakistan and abroad. Dinner will be served at 7 PM at the Assembly Room of the Bechtel International Center.

Oktoberfest – German Student Association                                                                              

The Stanford German Student Association (SGSA) hosts together with the Stanford Brewing Club its annual "Oktoberfest", with a traditional German-style BBQ (including "Bratwurst", potato salad, bread), live music from the Karl-Lebherz-Band, and, of course, a selection of imported German beverages (guests will need to prove their age).

Come to the garden of the Bechtel Center for a nice afternoon in the sun with great food, bring family and friends, and practice your German
