Access policies described here apply to the Stanford University Libraries. Coordinate libraries (e.g., Business, Law, Hoover, Medical) and department libraries (Classics, Philosophy) may have separate access requirements and borrowing policies; consult them directly for information about using their facilities and resources.
Summer conference participants
Summer conference participants have access to libraries for the duration of the conference. This does not count toward the seven days of access granted to all visitors.
Participants in select residential programs may be offered a SUL Card for building access and borrowing privileges. Inquire with your conference sponsor for details. Usually, borrowing privileges are only available to program participants whose residency lasts at least six weeks.
