Movie Nights under the stars: (Summer Time)

Come watch a movie under the stars on the grass with popcorn. Recent movies have been Stars Wars, ET, Finding Nemo; & Paddington, all family friendly new releases and classics.

Halloween Pumpkin Patch and Party: (Late October)

Come take a picture with Snoopy, Charlie Brown next to The Great Pumpkin in our pumpkin patch then watch the movie " The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" in our community room with popcorn.

Valentines Party: (Early February)

Come celebrate valetines in our community room with a party then watch a movie "Be My Valentine Charlie Brown" with popcorn.

Egg Hunt:  (Spring Time)

Come hunt some eggs spread out over the club looking for the golden egg for a prize. Great way to kick off the spring season.

Memorial Day BBQ: (Late May)

Pool Side BBQ Grill will be lit with sides and drinks provided. Bring something to grill and come enjoy the day at the club.

Tennis Socials: (All Year Round)

Allez! Come play in Tennis Mixers at SCRA. Lively tennis games, formidable food and prizes for interesting play.

SCRAII on Fridays (Summer Time)

“Braai” is a South African term for a traditional communal fire for cooking. “Scraai” is soon to become our own tradition. Grills will be lit and lifeguards on duty every Friday night during summer when school is out, 5:30-8:30pm. SCRA will provide dishware to use. Just bring your family’s uncooked dinner and enjoy an evening with friends and members!

Sip n Dip Day (Summer Time)

Third Saturday in June 1:30pm-4pm select Winemakers will be under the trees pouring free samples of wine as members enjoy a day at the club. Need more information email scra@stanford.edu

Earthquakes at Stanford Stadium and Tailgate at SCRA  (Summer Time)

Enjoy a casual tailgate at SCRA 5pm then head (walk as a group) to the MLS Earthquakes at Stanford Stadium (7:30pm.) The evening ends with a fireworks extravaganza after the final whistle. SCRA has arranged a block of tickets for our members to buy.. Need more information email scra@stanford.edu

July 4th Club Party-10am-2pm  (Summer Time)

Our traditional, all-time favorite event featuring Kids Carnival games 10am; Club BBQ (hot dog/ hamburgers & drinks provided 11:30am) members bring their favorite sides and desserts to share pot-luck style. Annual Chili Tasting contest at 1pm. (Enter contest with 1 pint of your best chili for judges and more to share with others for People Choice Award.) Prizes given out. Ending the day enjoying pool games and just relaxing at the club. Reserve your spot by July 1^st.  Need more information email scra@stanford.edu

Giants Game (Summer Time)

Enjoy a Giants game during the summer in style (club level group seating left field side). Don’t worry about traffic or parking as special arrangements have been made taking a comfortable bus (5pm) up to the ballpark together from campus.  Need more information email scra@stanford.edu

Annual Sharks Game: Winter Time

A must do event if you love sports or just like to socialize with friends in a unique way. Special arrangements have been made to take a bus to and from campus down to the Shark Tank (HP Arena).Dinner will be provided in the plaza of the penthouse level where you will experience an open area with room to move around during the game to mingle, socialize and watch the game from a different perspective. A great way to experience a sporting event with friends and members of the club.

A bus will be loading up in front of Maples Pavilion on the Stanford Campus then at 5:30pm depart and comfortably transport you down to San Jose while experiencing some trivia and refreshments on the bus with friends to the game. (Approximate travel time 45 minutes.)

Prior to the game, you experience a buffet style dinner in the penthouse level plaza while watching the teams warm up. Note: you can go down to the glass during warm ups to see up close and personal the players and if lucky, enough you may get a puck. Viewing the game from the plaza where there is plenty of room to move around or if you choose to sit in your arena sit watching it from a unique perspective and experiencing the game like none other.

Approximately 15 minutes after the game, you load up on the bus with all your friends and new acquaintances to celebrate the Shark victory. The comfortable bus whisking you back to campus with fond memories of the evening. You will be wishing for a return trip to the tank sooner than later. A must do experience if you have never done it before.

Cost : TBA which covers transportation to and from campus, dinner, and game seat.
