Visitors & Institutional Users

Institutional users and other visitors are able to access a range of services and resources at the library.

Onsite Access

*Some databases are restricted by license for current Stanford academic use only.

**In-depth research support from staff is not available. We recommend you contact your local public or other affiliated library for research assistance and interlibrary loan services.

Borrowing Privileges

To obtain borrowing privileges at our library, you may apply for a fee-based library membership in person at Green Library’s Privileges Desk.

Institutional Card Users

Institutional card users are required to present one borrowing coupon per item. Coupons are sold at the Green Library. To renew items, bring them to the library. Additional coupons are needed for renewals. The maximum number of items that can be checked out is 25 per visit.
