Who We Are 

LBRE Support Services comprises five major departments and a number of outside services, that provide support and maintenance to the functional spaces used for teaching and research at Stanford University. Working together in synchronicity under the accomplished management of Mike Rohrs, Support Services seeks to provide our skillful technicians with the resources they need to be "Caretakers of a Legacy".

Director of Support Services

 

Mike Rohrs

Mike joined Stanford in 2006 after management positions for hi-tech companies such as Sun Microsystems, Proxim, Nortel Networks, McAfee, and eBay. Within the Lands, Buildings, and Real Estate department, he has built a team responsible for Contracted Services, Mail Services, Purchasing Services, Work Order Management, Operations Project Management and the LBRE Operations Center. He is responsible for creating the nation's largest on-campus Grainger store and managing several other large supplier transitions while at Stanford. Mike was born, raised and continues to live in Cupertino witnessing the transformation of the Santa Clara Valley into the hi-tech center it is today.
