Purchasing Services

Purchasing Services is responsible for the management of the "Grainger@Stanford" branch. Together they provide materials and service to our LBRE technicians and contractors.

Meet Our Staff

Yvonne Burke
Purchasing Services Supervisor

Yvonne celebrated 35 years of service to Stanford in 2015. Her primary role has been supporting multiple areas that involve purchasing and inventory management. She was involved in the implementation of Oracle eAM and she now provides knowledge of this systems use to others. She also assists and oversees the Grainger program which has become the largest University based partnership in the United States.

Gilbert Estrada
Expediter II

Gilbert joined LBRE Purchasing Services in 2015. He was formerly employed with DTZ, where he assisted the BGM plumbing shop. Gilbert is very grateful to have been able to transition to a full time position at Stanford, as an Expeditor for Purchasing Services. Gilbert enjoys playing with his children, date nights with his wife, and BBQ's and parties with family and friends. Gilbert also takes pleasure in coaching and playing basketball, softball, and sometimes a good volleyball game with a cold beer.

Susan Michael
Vendor Services Buyer

Susan has been part of the Stanford family since February 2004 and has worked in vendor management for the last 11 years. Susan joined the LBRE Purchasing team in 2015. Her favorite places on the Stanford Campus include the New Guinea Sculpture Garden, and the Arizona Garden, near the mausoleum. In her spare time, Susan is currently working toward her Bachelor of Arts in Management degree at Golden Gate University. She and her husband enjoy backpacking and photography.

Lisa Liu
Accountant

Lisa Liu has been working as an Accountant for the LBRE Purchasing department since 2004. She is very proud to be a member of the Stanford family. Lisa loves to explore the campus during her lunch break; taking pictures of the beautiful scenery. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, singing, and taking photos of beautiful things that inspire her.
