2015 Check-In Times and Locations for Returning Undergraduates (not office hours) by Residence Area Assignment and Arrival Date
All new and returning students should have already received an email from R&DE Student Housing confirming the date on which we expect you to move into your Autumn housing assignment. If you have not yet received this email, please check your Axess account and/or contact your Housing Front Desk.
The chart below is intended to help you determine when and where to check in on your scheduled contract start date.
EARLY ARRIVAL: If you were granted approval to arrive before Autumn Quarter opening, but the date mentioned on the email you received from Housing Assignments is different than the date you understood, please contact the department that approved your early arrival directly. Please do not arrive before your authorized move-in date as you may not be permitted to move in. Anyone moving in without pre-authorization will be charged fees in the amount of $175 per day.
LATE ARRIVAL: If you expect to arrive later than 9/21/2015, please contact your Housing Front Desk Supervisor so that he or she knows when to expect you and have your key ready. Keep in mind we can only hold your assignment for up to seven days. If you are delayed in your travels to Stanford and end up arriving after our offices close, please call (650) 725-1602 when you arrive on campus and ask for after-hours check-in assistance.

House Managers distribute keys for Signa chi residents
Check-In Times and Locations for Graduate Housing Residents (not office hours)
Please check the welcome letter from your Housing Front Desk for information on when and where to check-in.
Office Hours:
- On August 28, Sept 4 and Sept 11, all Graduate Housing Front Desks (HFDs) will be open from 8 am - 6:00 pm.
- All Grad HFDs will be open Saturdays August 29, Sept 5 and Sept 12 from 1-5 pm for check-ins.
- The Escondite Cottage HFD will be open Sundays August 30, Sept 6 and Sept 13 from 1-5 pm handling all Graduate Housing check-ins for those dates.
- Graduate HFDs are open Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5pm, unless otherwise noted above. All offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, for the Labor Day Holiday.
