What is Axess?

Axess is a gateway for many users to access systems and information they need in their roles at Stanford. For students, Axess is the web site used to enroll in classes, check grades, see financial aid awards and tuition changes, fill out online course evaluations, etc. Faculty and academic advisors use Axess to enter grades, view their class lists, print class rosters, see information about their advisees, view the Time Schedule of Classes, and access the results of student online course evaluations. Administrators use Axess to access Stanford’s human resource management and student administration systems.

The web address for Axess is http://axess.stanford.edu.

When is it available?

Axess is generally available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Announcements of system closures are posted as far in advance as possible.

What browser and settings should I use?

The minimum browser requirements are Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 17, Chrome 17, Safari 5.

Cookies and JavaScript must be enabled for Axess to function properly. Contact your local technical support or call the ITSS Help Desk at (650) 725-HELP (4357) if you require assistance in configuring your browser.
