Video Conferencing

The Blue Jeans video recording service includes unlimited cloud based storage of your recorded video conferences. Recording of video conferences has special responsibilities for meeting moderators:

  • Some meeting participants may choose not to participate in meetings that are being recorded, so always inform them in advance if you plan to do so.
  • If you would like to start recording a video conference that is already in progress, please inform your participants of your intention, allowing them time to drop of from the meeting if they don’t want to be recorded.
  • Stanford Medicine faculty, staff and students are encouraged to download their recorded meetings and store them in their secure (safe for PHI and PII) Stanford Medicine Box account.

University IT offers four video conferencing options that you can use to meet and collaborate with colleagues across campus or around the world, reducing travel time and expense while increasing communication and sharing.

Each video conferencing service has its own unique set of features. Select the use case that best meets your needs.
